TELFOR 2015

TELFOR is an international regional IEEE Conference in the areas of Telecommunications and Information Technology.

TELFOR is co-supported by "TELEKOM SRBIJA", IEEE Region 8, VLATACOM, Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of Serbia, Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications of Serbia, IEEE Serbia and Montenegro Section, PTT Communications “Srbija” and other sponsors (22).

Telfor 2015 main results

  • 308 registered & submitted R&D papers from around 30 countries, over 50% out of Serbia;
  • 245 accepted and 63 rejected papers (factor rejected/submitted 20.5%);
  • Around 650 authors/co-authors, speakers and presenters, over 1200 visitors;
  • 10 special/technical/information sessions of companies/institutions
  • 4 invited plenary presentations;
  • 2 special, 36 regular and 1 student authors sessions;
  • 10 special/technical/information sessions of companies/institutions;
  • PTT “Serbia” Museum special exhibition “100 years of Telegraphy in Serbia”;
  • Traditional IEEE Region 8 Professional Seminar for students and young engineers;
  • 7-10 parallel tracks during the morning and afternoon sessions each day;
  • 150 members of Committees and technical support, 168 active reviewers;
  • All authors/co-authors and visitors got free CD Proceedings of accepted papers;
  • Only 2.5 % unexcused no-show authors;
  • All authors/co-authors paid minimum one registration fee per each accepted paper;
  • Free access and participation for all visitors (non authors);
  • All finally accepted papers are offered to be published in IEEE XPLORE Digital Library;
  • Several best papers awards were granted at TELFOR 2015 conference;
  • Open Access scientific TELFOR Journal was for seven years publishing selected best papers from TELFOR conference, with extended and improved results;
  • RSNOG Internet Conference was held in parallel with TELFOR 2015;
  • Opening Ceremony (over 1000 participantas) and the entire course of the TELFOR Conference was transmitted on-line over Internet for hundreds of interested parties.
